May 2013 was a busy time for the USS Columbus. In addition to the Pam Bryant Talaxian Cook-Off and a trip to Perkins Observatory, members of the club divided into several "Away Teams" and went out to seek new adventures, one of which was a trip to Space Fest in Dayton, OH where club members got to see pieces of a space shuttle and meet several NASA astronauts. The second away team attended the Friends of the Time Lord event at Star Base Columbus in Westerville, OH which raised $340.00 for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.
